VBuzzer’s Privacy Policy

At “VBuzzer™”, the security and integrity of your personal information is important to us. We take every reasonable measure necessary to protect the privacy of your personal information while providing you with quality services. Our privacy practices comply with all laws and regulations in Canada applicable to our use and disclosure of your information, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. 1. The Personal Information We Collect

(f) Information regarding orders you make for products and services;

(g) Video and sound recordings created, sent or received by you;

(h) VBuzzer test calls (which are recorded and played back to you and deleted thereafter);

(i) List of your contacts;

(j) Your user profile, username and password for other email accounts where you have provided this to us;

(k) Correspondence between you and VBuzzer; and

(l) Your communication data (data processed for the purpose of the conveyance of communications or the billing thereof, including, but not limited to, the duration of the call, the number calling and the number called).

We may ask you for this personal information directly. We may also collect your personal information through the use of cookies, clear gifs, web beacons, and third party cookies for the purposes of (1) enhancing your experience of our websites, products and services, (2) providing certain features (such as advertising), or (3) tracking email or website usage and online activity. "Cookies" are pieces of information that may be placed on your computer by a web site for the purpose of facilitating and enhancing your communication and interaction with that web site. You may stop or restrict the placement of cookies on your computer or flush them from your browser by adjusting your web browser preferences.

Please be advised that, when you use VBuzzer’s referral service to invite friends to join a VBuzzer service, you provide us with certain personal information of those friends which we will use to generate an automatic email message to them. By providing us with this information, you (1) agree that VBuzzer may identify you as the source of referral and (2) confirm to VBuzzer that your friend has consented to the supply of their personal information for this purpose.

Providing us with your personal information is your choice. However, we may not be able to provide you with certain products and services if you do not provide us with information we need to provide them to you.

2. Our Uses of Personal Information

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

(a) To provide you with a positive customer experience, and deliver, bill for, and collect payment for products and services you request;

(b) To understand customer requirements and make information available regarding products and services offered by us and our business partners, dealers and related companies;

You can challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and request amendments as appropriate.

VBuzzer does not tolerate spam. If you wish, at any time, you can opt-out of receiving of alerts and/or promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link on the email that you receive or contact a VBuzzer customer service representative. You can also manage your communication preferences by signing into your account page.

3. Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties

VBuzzer does not use or disclose personal information to third parties for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with your consent, as required or permitted by law, or in connection with the purchase or sale of business units. In the event that VBuzzer buys or sells a business unit, the personal information of VBuzzer users may be included as part of the transferred business assets. VBuzzer reserves the right to include and disclose your personal information, collected as an asset, in any such transfer to a third party.

4. Security of Personal Information

At VBuzzer, we use a wide variety of technology and security features and operation guidelines to protect the privacy of your personal information, using measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Given that VBuzzer offers its products and services primarily over the Internet and the Internet has inherent security weaknesses, we cannot give guarantee the security of your personal information.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access and, where relevant, amend any of your personal information held by VBuzzer. Some of your personal information may be accessed and edited online by logging into your “My Account” page on www.vbuzzer.com. If you would like to view or edit any of your other personal information, please contact a VBuzzer customer service representative.

We will respond to requests to view, correct, complete or remove your personal information within a reasonable period of time and upon verification of your identity. We will try to accommodate requests to delete personal information unless we determine that this information must be retained by law or for lawful business purposes.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify the provisions of this Privacy Statement if we deem necessary. We will inform you of these changes by posting the revised Privacy Statement on this website. The revised Privacy Statement shall become effective within thirty (30) days after it has been posted on this website, unless you expressly accept the revised statement earlier. You agree that the express acceptance by you or your continued use of the VBuzzer software or VBuzzer products after the notice period of thirty (30) days, shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Statement.
